SuPeRBE

The SuPeRBE project, short for Sustainable Plans for Resilient Built Environment, is an ambitious initiative designed to enhance climate change adaptation and resilience in urban environments across Central Europe. By developing a sophisticated SuPeRBE Platform, the project integrates innovative digital tools and software to facilitate effective adaptation measures at various spatial scales—from individual buildings to entire communities. This platform supports the entire lifecycle of adaptation activities, including assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring. To ensure effectiveness and applicability, the software will be customized for specific local and regional needs and linked to existing data sources. The project also emphasizes capacity building through a comprehensive training system and an e-learning platform, aimed at improving the skills of local and regional authorities, and other stakeholders involved in climate adaptation. Furthermore, the project’s outcomes are designed to be replicable and transferable, facilitating broader application throughout Central Europe, thereby enhancing regional resilience to climate change.
